DHARMADANZA
"Dharma" is a Sanskrit word that has various meanings across different cultures and religions. In Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism, it generally refers to the cosmic law, or ethical path that individuals needs to follow for spiritual growth. On the other hand, "Danza" is the Spanish word for "dance." It encompasses a wide range of movement and expression, often accompanied by music. Combining the two words,"Dharmadanza" is a fusion of dance and spiritual teachings, incorporating principles of mindfulness, self-discovery, and expression through movement.

Dharmadanza is a practice that uses the power of intention to inspire human movement and fill it with purpose and meaning. It is a specific type of embodied meditation and a practice of truth and positivity. The Tibetan word for meditation is ‘gom’, which means to become familiar or accustomed with that which is positive and true. Dharmadanza uses dance, movement and stillness to generate positive emotions and to get used to constructive and realistic attitudes - until these become second nature and begin to manifest inwardly as a deep sense of joy and peace and outwardly as selfless compassionate action in daily life. Sustainable happiness (for self and others) is the goal. The path is to keep dancing with life in a mindful and heartful way.
